Properties: Pure product appears light-yellow oily liquid with index of refraction 1.5221. Industrial product appears slightly dark-brown oily liquid. It can be easily dissolved in benzene, methylbenzene, diethyl ether and other organic solvents, uneasily dissolved in water. Keep it in mind it is decomposed by alkaline. Stable in normal temperature.
